My Climate control is acting up on the passenger side only. When the system is on it will only put out heat from the passenger side. The drivers side is running normally as far as I can tell and the temp can be adjusted as required but the passenger side will only put out hot air no matter the temp setting. The car is an 09 Coupe 3LT with 50k kms. Just had it into the dealership for an oilpan gasket replacement 3 weeks ago but I don't think these it is related. Anybody else had an issue like this? I can't find a thread relating to it.
usually when the Freon level is low the climate control acts that way.
also the mode doors may need to be re-synched, you need a tech 2 or you can try it manually by pulling the fuses to the climate control and waiting @ 10 minutes. reinstall fuses and start the car. DO NOT TOUCH THE CLIMATE CONTROL. after 2-3 minutes cycle the temp settings from cold to hot 1 at a time, waiting 2-3 minutes between changes.
this also works on tahoes ... when the battery is changed.
Thanks very much this worked! Didn't even need to cycle the temp settings. As soon as I reinstalled the fuses and started the car the climate control came on and was working perfectly. Thanks again....you just saved me a few hundred bucks as the car was going in to be looked at on this week.
