Default APR vs C7Carbon

So, I had a C7Carbon OE replacement diffuser and it was carbon over fiberglass. I replaced it with the APR diffuser, yes it costs three times as much, but it was all carbon fiber, just like the front splitter I got from them.

I wanted a bigger spoiler, so I ordered the C7Carbon extended ZR1 spoiler. They appear to be the only ones to offer it. There customer service is very good and they always responded when I asked for shipping updates. It arrived today, and the old story of, you get what you pay for is really true. The C7Carbon looks good, but the bolts are the cheapest 1/4 20 the could find, the brake light sorts fits and I had to bolt it down to get the front edge fit. It is also carbon over fiberglass.

APR has set the benchmark for me when it comes to carbon fiber, and I sure that C7 has many happy customers because of the good looks and low price, but in the future if it isn't APR, I am not buying it.

I have APR Performance carbon fiber parts all around, but I kept the stock rear spoiler. Everything is protected by a clear film. I also have APR's CF radiator support and gauge panel.
I am very happy with the results.

Not long ago I purchased the carbon fiber rear mud flaps from C7carbon. Those are very good looking as well, I must say. I believe that C7carbon is the only one who offers these.

I rate both APR's and C7carbon's customer service as very good / excellent.

Though C7 has pretty good customer service, if you use their products you will most likely have to use it. I know from experience. Spend a little more and get a better product.

To be on the save side I protected my new mud flaps with Xpel too.

We should have some more options for our products next year. Most people are really price point oriented and our standard CF units usually are preferred. But I know there are some people who don't mind spending the extra money to get the look and a pure carbon / prepreg build. We do offer all of our products in pure carbon fiber even if they aren't listed on our website. I appreciate the feedback so I can help improve our products and what we can offer

Kind of misleading, one would think that it's all carbon fiber.

Katech makes a bigger ZR1 spoiler in carbon and has been wind tunnel tested
