Advice on LS2 Stroker Build
I have the G6X3 cam with LG's 1-7/8 s/p catless exhaust. In the very near future (once i get the car running) I'll pick up the Fast 102 & NW 102 TB. I'm still not decided on the intake though..
I have seen great things said about TF's 225 heads, and that the 235's are a little to big for the LS2. But I'm curious that if I increase it to a 4" stroke (and bore it a little if the pros outweigh the cons) that the head would be used to max efficiency? Any insight would be appreciated with that!
I'm not entirely sure about how solid the cylinder sleeves are when (if) you try to bore them out. The shop i dropped the block off said that the gains of going .010" - .030" over wont be noticible enough on the street to compensate for a loss of cylinder sleeve strength.
Another thing is a piston head that works with the TF 225 or 235 to raise the compression ratio. What head should I be leaning towards if the 225 is the best head for this setup and if the 235 head is best for this setup?
Also, going to need a new valvetrain. Rockers, springs, valves, lifters, ect... Any ideas on that?
