magnetic shocks

I have a 2006 with magnetic suspension. F55 shocks. A gentleman has some off of a 2012 GS he is selling. Will the ones from the 2012 fit on my 2006??

I do not think so, I have a 2008 with mag ride and 2008 to 2011 are the same but out side that I would expect they are different. The best was would be to compare the part numbers, but you could also lookup both models online and compare. What is the problem with yours?
