elec cut outs installed!!!
I did all the wiring then took it to a local muffler shop to install the cut outs.. I installed the toggle switch in the ashtray area... modified it some - cut some plastic, but kept the function of the door - you can't see it when it is closed. Ran the wires thru tunnel below the shifter and to the back...very simple to do...just takes time to take off all the center console off..
Once installed by the muffler shop the sound was insane,,
..what i noticed too was that even with them closed the exhaust is a bit louder,,,but when they are open,,,, you know they are open...at idle is bearable...but at WOT...its incredibly loud...Took it to the local cars and coffee and it was quite a crowd pleaser...its actually pretty cool to just flip a switch and have a race car feel...my car is cammed so it sounds really neat...
Total time was about 2 hrs me doing the wiring and about 2 1/2 hrs at the muffler shop. Total investment +/- $600...

Looks good. I wanted 3" cutouts so I opted for the QTP low profile ones and needed to put them ahead of where my exhaust necks down to 2.5 at the over-the-axle portion so this was the only way I could figure to install them.
I hope you know I was not talking bad on your set up! It looks very nice I just suggest you be aware of the heat transfer. I don't remember the post but a member showed pictures of his rear spring failing because of the heat from his cut outs.
