2009 Service Electrical System??? Help!
My husband has a 2009 Corvette- Bone stock. He bought it last January and currently has 53k on it.
Since about march he has received the message " service electrical system" and chevy could not pull codes. Since then he has been through 3 batteries, 4 alternators and 3 starters. His drivers door wont open unless you pull the cord via the trunk and the other day he had to roll it down hill to push start it and on the way home it cut power and died.
Has anyone had any issues with this? Chevy cant find any issues but where stuck paying almost $600 a month on this car and with a house and wanting to start a family this is just not working out money wise :/
TIA
Electrical gremlins are a real challenge in these cars. I'm only a little surprised the dealer can't figure it out. At this moment I'm leaning toward a bad BCM or one of the related main connectors.
Not knowing anything about your car or husband's ability and knowledge, try looking through these 2 discussions. Just see if anything jumps out as being similar and think about the symptoms that you are experiencing but haven't reported here yet.

Let us know what you think.
Then the ABS Break warning
Then the fuel gage stops working
Then the temperture and oil pressure gages
The air quits
The average fuel milage etc stops working
^^ none of that happens^^ and the issues dont seem to be outside temperature specific- my husband is a major gear head, i'm more import savy where as he is more domestic and import inclined.
the second link not so much... the battery voltage DID drop to about 8. something when this all started so we did change the battery and still encountered the revolving door of starters and alternators failing left and right... Did Chevy make a warranty for electrical at all?
Okay, so be patient for others to see your post over the next few days. We'll see what they come up with.
Best of luck.
