So I was under the hood tonight and noticed what appears to be a screw or bolt hanging out of a pulley maybe ? Do I just put it back and all is good or has damage been caused ? I'm really not sure what it is.. What could have caused it ? My car is a 2006 base coup.

OK well if that's all it might be that's great news! I was scared to death. I'll have to look at it in the daylight and when the car is not hot. I couldn't touch anything right now. Thanks!

I agree but......I'm lost looking at the video. The belt routing doesn't look right.

This is what I have for the stock setup:

Is yours custom for some reason? Just asking, not trying to start anything.

No I just bought the car, starting to think it might have been wrecked. I'll get some better pics tomorrow of how it is and hopefully we can figure this all out. Damn I hope my front end isn't all messed up.

If you pause it at :06 it looks OK to me. Going under the PS pulley up around the alternator. It took me a few watches to wrap my brain around it but if I were OP I'd check anyway.

There is no bolt in the end of that pulley! It is just a push in plastic plug. That pulley is a one shot deal, when you remove it you replace it with a new one! It is pressed on and pulled off.

I think you're good. My 2010 had a loose plastic pin like that hanging out too. Seems to be a dust cover; it's not holding the pulley on.
