Default FOB/Memory Seat Question

Just got my 2007 Z06, and can't seem to get the memory seat to switch to my position upon unlocking/entering the car.

When I unlock the car by pressing the button or by just standing near the car with the FOB, the seat is never in my position. I have to hit the memory 1 button after getting in the car to make it move to my saved settings.

I would think there is a way to have this automatically move, and maybe I am just not doing something right.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

No, there's no way to get it to do that automatically if your car has the manual transmission. You must press the "1" or "2" button and the parking brake must be set if the engine is running when you do it.

2007 owner's manual, page 11.

It will do it automatically after you start the engine if your car has an automatic transmission.

But in neither case will it do it automatically when you press the fob button or unlock the door.
