Default Transmission cooler

I got a 2008 indy500 z51 6 manual and I'm considering to track the car this summer a couple of times for some fun lapping.

I read my vehicle should have already a transmission cooler but I have not located it, regardless, I was wondering :

1) should i replace the tranny cooler?
2) how can I get to show the tranny temps
3) what is a good tranny cooler and how much it would set me off?

I'm not looking for super hi end performance, just something that will preserve my transmission in the right working temperature ranges even when I occasionally push it or bring it to the road course.

During my Touring driving I feel a lot of heat from the center console is that normal?

Thank you

just the GS, Z06 & Zr1
there also is a heat exchanger for the Diff to the Trans fluid so it also is cooled by the radiator

ok great is it worth upgrading to separate coolers or a big radiator to keep things optimal?

during normal driving while moving the cooling fluid sits at around 194F, oil at 210F.
when road is open and on twisty bits with hairpin usually cooling fluid goes up around 208+F rands and Oil in the 230+F
ambient 75-80F

are those in the norm and will I be fine for repetitive consistent lapping?
Thax Ernie for the answers so far

when you first start (novice)you will be fine.
maybe if you like it and find yourself getting faster a Dewitts radiator will fill the bill for as long as you continue with a stock engine and quite a bit after. brakes are more of a concern later
