Does anyone recognize this shifter and what is in the ashtray?

Looks like an Akrapovic mild to wild switch for the exhaust.......does the car have an Akrapovic exhaust system...it should have the same logo on the tips.

The exhaust tips look stock. It may just be a switch. I only have pictures of the car so far. It is at a dealer out of state and I don't think they know much about it. I'm asking them questions. I may have them take some more pictures.
