Has Anybody here installed ls2 long tube kooks headers that bolt to the factory mid pipe? If so how does it run and are you happy with it?

Never heard of headers that bolt to a stock mid pipe. Do you have a link? Or a part #?

I don't see anything in print in that link that says those headers will bolt to a stock mid pipe.

May be a silly question but why would you want to use factory x with headers?

No that's a fair question. Oem mid pipe 2.5 inches /billy boat mid pipe 2.5 inches. I could always add a high flow cats and mid pipe later.

I myself am in the same boat, I'm wanting to delete the cats as i don't have emissions or inspections, I'm new to the whole nodding scene so forgive me but my question is what makes the aftermarket x pipes better than say, a 08 and up x pipe. And what prevents you from connecting it that way being as the stock x pipes can be had for 150 to 200 vs 600 and up for a mId pipe from kooks or lg or whomever
