You mean just heads ?? No supporting parts ??
Also, lots of variables....chamber size, head gasket, valve choices...etc.

The heads are going on a ls2 with a fast 102 intake, kooks 1 3/4 headers with off road x pipe no cats. 25% ud pulley. New corsa exhaust, k&n cai, all new valve train including timing chain, lifters, pushrods rocker trunion kit etc etc. also installing a 231/239 .617/.624 113 lsa cam and tune!!!! So what kind of ho with this setup do you think the stage 2 heads will make???

well all things considered i'm thinking about 450-465 whp. but "Stage 2" heads mean very little. Not all stage 2's are considered equal. but i think my estimate would be accurate with "most" heads that people would consider stage 2.

Thanks but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm asking how much power the actual heads contribute. Not the overall hp but the heads. Like 15rwhp or 30wrhp. What is your guess. What overall power does the heads make not the combined engine parts.

25 on the low side
And as much as 50+ on the high side.

Really depends on your level of detail and overall build.
(Chamber size, custom seat work, hand blended SSR, rolled angle, valve size, valve weight, quench pad, plug landing, total quench...etc..etc)

Just because it says "stage 2" does not mean you/they can't spend a little extra time cleaning up the details.

Good luck with your project...

Thanks for the info bud. Wow as much as 50 hey. Oh well hopefully I'm somewhere in between. I'll keep younpostedon my build. It should all be buttoned up this Thursday coming. Put down 333.2 rwhp and 359 torque bone stock. Hoping to hit around 475 rwhp.

A properly done up set of 243 castings can gain as much as 50rwhp with the right camshaft & tuning. Advanced Induction does all of our stock GM casting CNC work and we see a consistent 40-55rwhp gain out of ALL their CNC programs. This even includes the 241 castings. We've done several back to back tests on cam only cars that acquired a set of these heads and all the results are pretty consistent.

Side note: Hopefully you've got a very good tuner with that camshaft and a NW102 throttle body.

Hey bud I do have a good tuner but I don't have the nw 102 tb. So I'm guessing your saying the heads and cam will make 50 rwhp not just the heads. Anyways why should I have the nw 102. Is it something I got to have??? Thanks. Oh and is this cam a hard cam to tune??
