Default 2" headers and LS2

Ok so hears the deal, I'm going to do a heads/cam/intake and full bolt on set up on my 2006 LS2. After the car is payed off I'm going to do a Procharged 408. My question is I only want to buy headers once so can I get away with using 2" headers on this build so I can use them again on the next build ? I would think I could and the LS2 would like them. I had a similar build in a 2000 LS1 Camaro Z28 with 1 7/8 Kooks headers and the car loved them. So I would think a LS2 built pretty much the same way would run good with 2" headers. Thoughts ?

Forgot to mention the heads will be my existing 243's that I'll have worked by Phil at Advanced Induction along with a custom grind roller cam from him also. Not sure what intake I'm going with yet.

After thinking about it I think I'm going to use 1 7/8 instead. Should be just right for the LS2.

There were some tests done a couple years ago comparing the 3/4 and 7/8 tubes and there was really no difference between the two on similarly modified S/C Vettes. I'm pretty sure 2" will hurt tq. Who makes them anyway?

I think LG Motorsports and Kooks are a couple that make them. ARH might be another..
