Default Fuel gauge shows empty when full

Put new fuel pump and sending unit in driver side, also put new sending unit in passenger side. When full it shows empty, must this be reset with tec two scanner.

Thanks Bograndie

When I had this issue on my car after swapping the fuel pump it was because the sending unit was damaged. Unfortunately I think you're going to have to go back in and look but I'd listen to any easier advice others can give.

There is another problem that could be at play. In 2007 GM reversed the the wiring on the sender. You can verify this by running the part number though one of the vendors like GM Parts House. This picture shows the new wiring. In the older version (including 2004 C5 - 2006 C6) the green wires came in from the bottom (you can see the old notches in the gray plastic).
