05 plug and wire replacement
Replaced the plugs and wires after 55,000 trouble free miles. Used Delco Iridium OEM plugs; the old ones looked good. Replaced the wires with OLM 10mm racing wires. They came with the metal shield which I thought they would not have. Read on here that removal of wires may be difficult but I had no issues. Plugs also came out easily and appeared fine. After 9 years I thought I'd agree with some consensus on replacement rather than leave them on forever - most of us never get close to 100,000 miles which is the given life for the plugs.
Car definitely idles more smoothly (550 rpms as before). Otherwise no different - maybe slightly smoother on slow turns and pull away.
