Default LS7/Z06 harness and sensor differences?

Hey everyone. I've noted that GMPP sells two different harnesses for the LS7. As well, it seems 06-07 and 08+ had a difference between the engine, harness, and fuse layout. It seems very minor. According to one search:
"The 07 and 08 wiring harness has 2 wire pinout differences and you could have swapped those pinouts. Did it on mine except mine was 08 with 07 engine harness.

1 wire was in the harness at the #72 pin in the ECM plug and the other was at the underhood fuse block X3.

Mine had the same symptom. Push the start button and everything shut down. Took about 8 seconds then everything returned to normal until the button was pushed again.

Need to make sure you have the right underhood fuse block as 07 and 08 are different.
"

What I was wondering is if anyone knew if there are different sensors on the motor's themselves, and if you can swap the sensors to fit the ecm/harness from a different year. Such as you have an 07 motor with a complete 08 engine harness/body harness/ecm. I am working on a project and this would help to know, so I don't mix up my parts.

If anyone knows the sensor compatibility, please let me know. I can't find it so far in my searching.

If you give them you VIN, they should be able to get you the correct one.

Just a guess based on history.

The problem is its not for a Z06, is all. Just the motor into another vehicle. Don't have an original vin, but I may be able to figure it out based on engine setup. Not a big deal but it could catch me if I don't figure the issue out before I wire things up.

So is the assumption if I but the 09 kit, and I supply a bare block/heads with 09+ sensors from GM, I won't have an issue. I.E. its the same crank trigger and sensors are in the same location? From what I can tell, the big changes were gen III/Gen IV which don't affect the LS7. Did they use an update crank/cam sensor or something?

I'll keep looking, if I find an answer I'll come back with it, or if someone else knows, that would help. Thanks for the help so far.
