man. this so frustrating. i have done all the searcjes and tried all the suggestins
just latley, i shut car off.doors lock and map lighta stay on and start button remains green. i put it on acc .then off, nothing jappena. lights stay on. i start it. turn off and walk. come back in 5 min. same green button and map lights. sometimes is ok but mostly not. no, the button that turns them on and brightness is not on. i need help(more ways than one). before i just take thw bulbs out.

Check to make sure that you did not hit the convince light switch with your knee when you where getting in/out of the car.

The dimmer switch that you turn to dim the dash lights with at your left knee is also the convince switch as well. You push it in once to turn the convince lights on , then push it in again to turn them off.
Note, it kind of a blind push switch in function, being that you push it once to turn the convince lights on, then push it in again to turn the lights off, hence does not have a inward/outward position like the mirror switch.

So on that note, push the dimmer switch in one time, and see if the lights go off after a couple mins with the car off.

Also to add, the mirror light switches are backwards. up/in is off, and down/out is on. At least with these, you can figure then out with the car running, where as the convince light switch (dimmer switch), with the car on, the lights are on, so you only know that you have hit it by mistake when the car convince lights will not turn off after a few mins after leaving the car.

P.S. if you are sure that is not the dimmer switch (not sticking) that you hit and have convince lights turned on, then toggle through the set up in the car, and see how long you have the car set up before it turns the lights off. I could be the time difference between the settings for different fobs/drivers.
