Default No key, glovebox lock removal

How do I remove the glovebox lock if I do not have the key? I bought a glovebox from a member and would like to put my lock in so I can lock it.

I have done a search and found how to change the lock if I have a key.

I also tried my key in the off chance they were the same.....nope.

Two screws hold it on from the backside.

Then do this.
Lock Assembly - Instrument Panel Compartment Handle
Tip:
1. Insert a small pointed tool into the lock release hole.
2. Pull the lock assembly from the instrument panel compartment handle.

Thanks for the info but it was my understanding you had to have the correct key. With this knowledge I tried it a few times to no avail and gave up but I thought I would try one more time. Not sure how but it came out and I now have the correct lock in my new box.

I took the info from the shop manual, not talk of needing a key.
