Tach stop working

Tach just stop working, started car tach turn on and then no tack. Where is the tach module located. Also part no# if possible, Also do have use a tech II TO PROGRAM IT

Does the tack still make the initial sweep with the rest of the gauges when you start up the car?

Yes it does, battery was almost dead. Put on charger, started car with a full charge and everthing back to normal.

A low battery can make these cars do crazy things...but this is a completely new crazy thing that I haven't heard of before. Glad it's back to normal.
