Default Flip drive installation

Need some help here.
I Want to make sure i am not running off a cliff here. I have a 2006 Z51 with the ECS supercharger and I am installing the flip drive I bought from ECS as well. I have removed all the pieces and I am now trying to put in the flip drive bracket. The lower idler will not go on because of it hitting the two lower hoses that connect to the radiator. Here is a picture of where the interference is. Anyone have any suggestions? I figured someone must have run across this already.

Surely I can't be the only one that has run across this?

have you called ecs for a solution?

they also have a couple of employees who are forum members here - you could try PMing them...

We have never personally had an issue installing a flip drive on a C6 with oil cooler lines, but in this case I would recommend calling the manufacturer, Cartek.

So it turns out we were doing a full dress up on an engine stand today so I took close pictures of the assembly. Basically we just tweak the lines down a bit, it's so fast to do that I never even paid any mind to doing it.

Here is before and after pictures of the oil lines using a flip drive and our cog driven assembly.

Default tweaked line

That piece of information was helpful and I can see that having the engine out makes this a MUCH simpler task. Sadly, my engine is still inside the car.

I can get the idler on if I push down enough with that bracket loose. I am just trying to figure out how to bend it with the engine still inside the car. One question is the bracket bonded to those lines or can i remove it and tweak it?

Despite the headache I am still impressed with the engineering behind this.
