C6 Gear shift **** replacement

I want to put the POW/MIA gear shift know from my C5 on my C6 2011
Grand sport. Is there an adapter thaT would allow this?

Short of changing out the shifter to a MGW with C5 threaded shaft, no.

The C6 **** slides down onto the sold shaft of the stock shifter and is retained by a side screw.

Since the stock shifter top of shaft is larger than the threads on the shifter ball you have, Even if you made an adapter, the threaded end of the adapter would too high above the top of the shifter shaft ending up with the shifter ball higher than the original shifter ****, and a lot of ugliness before the ball to the top of the boot.

As for the MGW shifter, you can get it with either the C6 solid or C5 top threaded shaft that would allow you to use the thread type ball ****.
