Default Light weight seat options?

My car is a 3lt coupe.. I'm looking for a lighter weight seat option that isnt a piece of sheetmetal beat into place like the kirkys.

do we have any options?

i think my driver side is about 70lbs and passanger is 50-60..

Most of the weight in not the seats, but the electronic hardware seat bracket below the seat that make it move instead.

So on that note, if you are just swapping seats and still using the factory electronic seat brackets hardware, you not going to lose much weight.

So on that note, if you are looking to ditch weight, then start here,

I wish you lived closer. I have a pair of Recaro ProfiXL seats and brackets along with sims and harness.

I used them for about two hours. I am old and need to lose about 40 pounds, so I could not get in and out of the car without a bunch of work.

Trust me the brackets you can buy, do not work with wide seats, so I had them fabricated by the guy the use to build the Jegs ProMod car. The have seat and sub mounts built into the frames. The frames are not adjustable.

If you weigh 320, why would you care about lightweight seats? You need more support, not less.
