Creaky C6 top gaskets
Does anyone out there have the part number for the silicone grease that is recommended to lubricate the targa top seals on the C6 top? I know I've seen it in various magazine tech columns but can't seem to find it now. I'd like to be armed with that info before I walk into my local dealer and the response to my inquiry is a dumb look. I've been in their parts dept. before!

It's called "Dielectric Silicone Grease", available under that name at any good GM dealer.
Local parts store probably has it cheaper, but I don't know if there might be quality differences.
For a while, GM was recommending "Superlube Paste" with PTFE on the rubber, but it can dry out into a gummy mess and so they're back to the DSG.
