Sky is really the limit on the block (displacement) and if you want to get ideas of what is possible, GM does sell LSX crate motors to give you a feel of displacement verses power.
LSX as in using an LSX block or just a LS based motor? Power could be anywhere from 500-900ish, that is all dependant on the build and setup. A mild roller cam 376ci isn't going to make the same power as a 460ci tall deck solid roller 16:1 methanol motor with canted valve heads. You could have a $8k build or a $45k build.
I wouldn't even consider touching a LSX block for a n/a build. You are better of sticking with an aluminum block and keeping it light and cool. No need for the iron, 6 bolt heads, or other features of an LSX block.

I agree..
For a N/A setup I would most likely just run a LS7 block or a ERL sleeved block...
