Understanding there's a technically "right way" to measure ride height and the "typical easy way" we regular people measure it are very different, check this discussion for values you can measure on your car:
It does depend on the suspension package.. Measuring from the ground up through the center of wheel to the bottom of wheel well.
The Front should be 27.3 in +or - 0.39 inches... This the p-height in GM's specs
The rear should be 28.2 in +or- .039 inches .. This is the R-height in GM's specs
I've read the thread that Rick T has in his post and don't know if I have a problem or not.
I have owned my '05 for about three months. I read as many threads about C6's as I can to get familiar with the car. Upon reading these, I went out and measured my heights.
The LF is 26" and the right front is 26.25";
The LR is 27.75" and the right rear is 28";
The rocker panel height is 4.75 front and 5.75" rear.
The front tires are about four years old with 32k miles on them and show no excessive wear.
The care looks great, in my opinion, and rides smooth. There is a slight shimmy from the right front at 80+ which I believe is tire balance.
Are my height difference too much? If so, what should be done to remedy it?
