08 Z51 transmition problems
We have an 08 with 39,000 miles earlier in the year it started a deal were it would rev up to about 1300-1400 rpm's before catching. We serviced the transmition and it was better for a few months. Problem started again and buy disconnecting the battery and letting reset it stopped it, but not permently. Last week the car stopped shifting, checked codes and came up with P2715. Anyone else had a similar issue? Looks like it's headed to the shop. This one belongs to my girl friend which means in this case the cars rarly drive hard and as it should be very well maintained.

That is a "somewhat common" issue. Interestingly it's also one that frequently clears itself. I don't think that's your case though.
It's a stuck / bad solenoid and usually ends up with replacement.
