I'm about to order a set of Holley's replacement valve covers after seeing that the coils mount directly on them. I really like this design but I'm hesitating due to the possibility of more direct heat transfer breaking down the coils after time.
Has anyone who installed these covers experienced any coil problems?
I have them on my car (only for a month now), but the way I see it there shouldn't be any issues. The lsa/ls9 motors both come with coils mounted directly to the valve covers.
We've installed many of these on Corvettes and Camaros from stock to high horsepower. They look great, perform great, and are half the price of the LS9/A valve covers.
Never had an issue with them.
