Headlights automatic on/off
Hi folks I hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving. Has anyone had a problem with the automatic headlights not switching to daylight mode. My garage is just dark enough that when you start the car, the headlights come on. When I back it out into the bright sunshine the don't switch to daylight mode. If I restart the car in the sun, the work as they should in daylight mode and they switch to night time mode as its gets dark. I have a 2007 C6 with the A6. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Takes a few mins in daylight for the head lights to kick back off (into daylight running mode).
As for just turning the lights off when the start the car up in the garage, rotate the light **** clockwise against the spring from the auto position and let is snap back to the auto posistion, and not only will it turn the lights off, but the day time running lights off as well. When it gets dark, the lights will turn themselves back on.
Or if you want the lights back on, then rotate the **** one more time clockwise against the spring and let it snap back to auto.
