I'm having issues with my 05 C6 window switch on driver side. All functions work except for raising the passenger side window. I can drop the passenger window but I can't raise it. I have to end up extending myself to the passenger side and raising it from there. I predicted water must have somehow leaked into the switch messing something up. I took the driver side switch apart, and besides a little bit of dirt it didn't look too bad. I took it all the way down to the board and cleaned the board with alcohol and from what i can tell all seemed well. I didn't use a electrical tester yet, but i figured I'd ask here maybe this is a common problem or something. I have searched around in this forum, I haven't came across this. If I do just need to buy another switch, can someone guide me to the right place? Dealership wants like $125ish. Thanks
For $125 ish, I would be getting that multimeter out and testing the switch. This is not a common problem. You might also check the circuit by using a jumper and bypassing the switch.

Multimeter...thats the word. Idk why I said tester. Ya i haven't done that yet. I heard with window switches that have auto-down that it goes through a module, and bypassing with a jumper doesnt work or might mess things up

That's a good point, if the module is inside the switch. It also may be that the switch is just a simple switch. I haven't had one open but it should be fairly simple to analyze once it's disassembled. Good luck and be sure to report back. If the switch were $20, I might just toss it, but for more than $100, I would be willing to spend some time on it.
