Default LS2 Head Upgrade

Due to the unknown lift of the cam in this vehicle I was contemplating changing the springs or the heads completely. I don't know if this (Springs) was ever done when the cam was put in. Sometimes it seems like there is a slight lifter tick but it is hard to tell over the exhaust. Tomorrow I will put a stethoscope on each head to tell. Regardless, I plan on attempting to go FI around march. Thoughts? Other ways you guys would put the money towards?

Are you thinking about just doing a cnc port, cnc valve job & decking on your heads or brand new heads? Either way give us a call & we can discuss options for you. If you worry about the lifters ticking just swap em out while your doing the heads. They're affordable for the peace of mind not taking it apart again!

We have a cnc program for you that is very affordable or if your feeling real crazy you can go to a aftermarket casting. We can even work you a trade in on your LS2 castings towards aftermarkets if you'd like!

N/A and F/A are two different worlds, so figure out which way you are going before spending a dime.

In N/A, the engine is sucking in air (why the intake manifold and head passages matter), and you are increasing compression/lessening the head dome area to make more HP.

In F/A, the engine is forced air (you can force all the air you to the heads), and now just a matter of the manifold not leaking from the pressure instead), and you want the motor to have low compression (more head dome area), and with the F/A bring the pressure up instead.
