Grandsport vs Z06 Differential
I have searched a number of threads to try and get a definitive answer but about as far as I could see back in 2011/12 the conclusion was the same case, slightly different cooler lines but unknown on the internals.
I have access to a 2011 Grandsport M6 differential part no 24241377. Ideally I would like to know with confidence that the internals are as strong and the ring and pinion is the same size. Are these GS differentials essentially the same as the Z06 24262486 the only difference being the cooler lines?
Hopefully someone who has actually had them apart can post with some accurate knowledge. Thanks in advance

In the discussions I had with LG motorsports About a performance package for my 2011 grand sport. They told me my differential was identical to Z06 And that I should be safe with power packages equalling the Z06 Power range

I have been able to confirm that an 2011 GS and Z06 share the same ring and pinion part no so based on that and the case being the same then the Grandsport manual Couple that comes with differential cooling is up to whatever you could throw at the Z06 differential
