I need clearance ahead of the front cradle for SC duct work.
There is a Pfadt heavy rate front swaybar installed. The bar lands dead center where I need to run the SC /intercooler ducting.
Is there any problem with rotating the swaybar so rather than dipping down in the center the dip would be forward toward the radiator.
As long as both arms are reclocked accordingly. I dont see how there would be any difference whether the dip was forward, down, or any other position.
Am I wrong?
Make sure you have room for the bar to move with the suspension, that is, make sure the bar doesn't bind against the chassis at full droop or hit your ducting when the suspension is at full jounce.
Finally, those bars are junk. You need to keep a careful eye on the arms since they tend to crack and break, or the loosen up and can (and have in some cases) fall off.
