Nitto NT05R Tires
I'm now using the NTO5R and I love it as well.
Word of caution in the rain don't go on the expressway or over 35 mph do not trust them in the rain.
I will not run them on the C6.
IMO they are designed for Straight line acceleration in dry conditions.
I am going to try the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. From the reviews, this seems to be one of the best all-around grip, cornering, dry/wet control tires available
I have a hard time hooking the tires but want an all around type tire. don't drive in the rain unless caught off guard so dry conditions are 90% of my use. Don't even kid about ice and snow!
Any suggestions from the forum woud be appreciated.
The nto5 are absolutely awesome but not available in 345 so I went with nto5r this time around for vett.
I don't consider any low aspect ratio tire good for the 1/4 or 1/8 track.
They are great on the street sense it more closely resembles road racing.
I should add the nto5r handles curves real well I keep them at 19 ps1 and still curve great. On narrow neighbor hood street I don't use the brakes at 35 mph for 90 degree short turns and they take like they love it.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
If roll racing, do a rolling 2nd gear burnout for 3-5 seconds. I've had 15 sets of MT's in every size. You'll notice the tread started to get rough and have clumps while street driving. You need to get those off before a roll race.
Car sounds like a beast
My apologies, I meant to say RPM Transmission and I believe they are a vendor here.
If they don't have an upgrade tough enough to support your power level, you may want to consider Fighter Jets in lieu of Corvettes...
Peace and good luck!

Had I known that they don't make good rubber in a, at that time (2008) 20" rim i would have never bought them.
I would have taken that money and thrown it into a beefier trans/dif set up, but I didn't know that would be required either when making big power....
SOOOOO..... Long story short, i beefed up my trans/dif and shafts, and ordered a set of 18" rims all the way around. There is a much broader choice of sticky tires and drag radials in an 18" rim than is in a 19 or 20, particularly with the wide rear (325-345/18) requirements. And now run R888's all around, and I can stick a set of drag radials on there and not sweat leaving half of my differential at the starting line or stop light. R-888's are FAR BETTER tires for traction, though they do wear quickly. Not a problem for me as my car is a garage queen that only comes out when a friend of a friend says "his car would drag mine like a fishing lure". Never ends well for the friend's friend.....
Save yourself a ton of frustration and replace your stock trans/dif/shafts and order an 18" wheel set and you'll never have to worry about breaking things after putting on sticky tires. If you want to make your car track specific, a 17" rear will give you tons of options with slicks.
End rant!
Good luck!
