I have a question about proper front and rear sway bar alignment on a 2005 C6 Corvette. If the end links are removed and the sway bars are installed, the sway bars can rotate and be closer or further away from the control arms. If you loosen the end links as far out (long) as they both can go, you can still install them with zero preload. Same goes for if you adjust the end links in the middle range or shortest range, all can be done at zero preload. My question is this, where is the best length to begin with on the end links so they perform at the best? Are they better at the shortest length of the end links, the middle or the longest length of the end links. Of course I am referring to aftermarket adjustable end links.
My car at WOT plants from first to second, when it shifts from 2 to 3 it feels like the front end gets light and wants to go to the right. Can this be adjusted with the sway bars or is this another issue and if so what?
I know by changing the length of the end links the angle of the sway bar moves, this is why I am curious at what angle of the sway bars are we shooting for optimal performance, that will dictate what length the end links should be.
I would set the sway bar links at the same length as the stock ones. In fact you really only need two adjustable ones to take the preload off, one on the front and one on the rear.

That is essentially what I did, I measured the old ones with a caliper and set the new ones the same but at zero preload.
Also, nice to see your comment about only needing two and not 4, you are correct and it is cheaper, but I already got 4. But anyone on a budget can use that info to get it done cheaper.
What my concern is, the way it is acting in a given situation.
At WOT it plants and then goes from first to second, stays planted and goes, then when it goes from second to third, it feels like the front unplants, gets light and pulls to the right slightly, and continues on.
So I am curious why the front seems to get light and unsettle the chassis. Maybe my second to third shift is not fast and firm enough resulting in the chassis unplanting or is it something else? So from the second to third shift feels like the car gets free and not planted like it does through first and all through second.
Could it have lost traction causing the chassis to unplant resulting in that? Can the sway bars help it or what can?
