E85 question
Hi guys, I recently bought a modded 06 Z that was built by lethal and is tuned on e85, I would love to run e85 but I dont have anywhere to fill up local.
I am having it tuned for 93 next weekend, but I just wanted to get opinions on driving the car with 93 before then. No WOT pulls or anything just to get the car tuned which is about a 10 mile drive or maybe go wash it. Tried contacting lethal but I cant get the tuner or owner on the phone or get them to respond by email since Saturday.
Modifications:
Fast 102 intake manifold
Nick Williams 102 throttle body
K&N intake
arh longtube headers and x pipe
Fast 85lb injectors
Milled heads .030
Stainless exhaust valves
Heads rebuilt with bronze guides
roller rocker arms and dual springs
Aggressive cam spec'd by lethal performance

I would NOT drive it except to the re-tune appointment. I would guess the car will run super rich on 94 octane as the E-85 tune would require tons (approx. 30% more?) of fuel compared to a standard tune which is why bigger injectors are needed on E-85.
--ZERO tuning knowledge here just going off the internet research I have previously done on E-85 tunes. Hopefully someone with more knowledge chimes in.

Converted to flex fuel with ethanol sensor, or just tuned for E85 on stock car without a ethanol sensor?
The later is scary as hell, since not all E85 is True 85%, and just from station to station on refuel, could end up with fuel that the car can not compensate for.
If it was flex fuel converted with sensor, then standard low and high fuel tables for Petro should still be in place, and can run Petro without problems instead.
