What size header tube would be good on an LS3 car? All my previous cars were stock cube LS1's and they all had 1 3/4" tubes. The addition of headers would be the last mod done, and the car currently only has a AirAid CAI, PATC torque converter (no runs yet with the converter) & Pat G tune, so it is a very mild car.

I went w/Kooks 1 7/8" Longtubes on my '08. ( http://marylandspeed.com/kooks-1-78-...-ex-p-745.html ) I ordered from Marylandspeed w/the option to get them ceramic coated before they shipped them to me. Shipping was free & the coating was free when I entered the coupon code ('freecoatkooks') The coating I picked was called 'Airborn 1700 deg Silver Jet Coat'

If I read your Dyno charts correct, you made about 375 rwhp before and 412 after the 1 7/8" Kooks headers, is that right? What other mods were on your 2008 and did you have cats on the Kooks intermediate or not? Do you have any other Vettes besides the 2008??
It all depends on your future plans. We generally stick to 1-3/4" headers if staying under 450 RWHP but anything over that and we'll go with 1-7/8" primaries on the LS3. Sounds like you're sticking with bolt ons, so I'd go 1-3/4".
Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions or pricing. We have a great deal going on them currently!

I sold the '08 & now I have a Manual transmission 2013 Grand Sport. I haven't really started modding the Grand Sport yet...
On my '08, before the mods & tune, the car was entirely stock & made 375 rwhp/376 lbft. The mods added were; Halltech MF103 CAI, Kooks 1 7/8" Headers, Kooks Catted X-pipe & Corsa Xtreme exhaust. That brought it up to the 412 rwhp/402 lbft. I went w/the 1 7/8" because "the future's uncertain"...I liked the idea of the bigger tubes, you know, (just in case). It seemed like I didn't loose out on TQ anywhere by getting 1 7/8", so I don't think you're leaving much, (if any) torque on the table by getting 1 7/8" instead of 1 3/4" headers. The LS3 can breathe.
