Hi all...
I bought a used Corsa touring exhaust for my 2008 base let. The guy lost one of the overaxle pipes, and the closest place that does mandrel bending is 2 1/2 hrs away
I can get a replacement from Borla for $110 or have the muffler shop bend one for a fraction of the cost... My question is - will having mandrel bends on one side, and normal bends on the other side have any harmful effect on my engine due to back pressure difference? I doesn't seem like it would, but I don't know much about that stuff so I came to the experts!!
Thanks!

The local shop will do fine. Any possible WOT backpressure differences will be compensated in the X-pipe. You don't need, or will ever get, perfection.

I would just buy the correct pipe. I have seen some ugly pipes made at muffler shops. I doubt it would be an exact match. You could pay for rattles or vibration when it doesn't fit correctly. Just my .02
marty does have a point. The only saving grace beyond price is that it's local. So, if there are rattles, at least you can go back and ask for some re-do's.
