While this is not the For Sale or Parts Wanted section I wanted to throw this thought out. If somebody with a 2011 Base/GS has long tube headers with cats, and is thinking about removing them (car for sale or lease turn in) I'd like to know. I am looking at LT's but can't justify the $2000 + (with install and tune) for them, but may consider buying a used set. I had a line on Kooks from a 2005 or 2007 (can't now remember the exact year) but know the intermediate pipe will not fit, and the cost of modifying or a new intermediate is over the top.

Modifying a newer intermediate pipe to fit the 05-08 over axle pipes is not difficult. I did just that on my 06 and the 08 I own now. Any decent exhaust shop should be able to do it easily and not charge too much.
