Default Rookie cam question

I have a 07 coupe with kook LT headers, high flow cat, corsa exhaust, and BBk intake. This year I plan on installing a cam , under drive pulley and tune. Any suggestions on cam I should use? Also pulley? It's a weekend driver with 1/4 mile track use twice a month, every other month. Thanks

A6 or M6. If you have an A6 you'll need a higher stall converter with most performance cams.

Yes
Don't even get a different cam if your not ready to change the TC. Just not worth it. I like this one....

Call Martin Smallwood at Tick Performance, he has developed a cam designed strictly for Automatics that makes good power and does not require a higher stall converter.

I use Ticks blower cam on my LS3(spec'd by Martin Smallwood). Do yourself a favor and have somebody spec one for your specific set up and how you plan to use the car. Patrick G on here also specs cams and has a good reputation.

If you want to go with an off the shelf cam you could also look at Vengeance racing. They have a few cathedral port specific cams on their website. Either way do your homework because changing a cam out that you don't like isn't a fun job. Too big and it'll not drive well and too small isn't worth the effort.
