Default Car dead help

So I have owned my 2005 auto 2 weeks and already had to replace the water pump and now it is completely dead.

Replaced the water pump yesterday and other then that stupid 3/8-1/4" T snapping was pretty strait forward but this morning I drove to taco bell and it ran fine but when I pulled away the car just shut off and would not recrank.

After several try's the car with only a relay click the car will intermittently go into a weird continuous crank but will not start and will only quit cranking if I press the ignition Sw off. The car cranks supper strong but I replaced the battery anyway with a fully charged one but no difference.

I don't have my Helms yet, they are in rout but I am out of ideas. I don't have any idea of what it could be other than the BCM since it seems to affect the entire run/start sequence. I checked and cleaned the body grounds as a shot in the dark so I had it towed to the dealer but any sugestions or simmilar findings would be great.

I hope Bill is wrong but he rarely is but the description he has in 4th post is dead on other than I can get mine to go into that strange crank deal every now and then.
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-to-start.html

Mine is doing exactly what Bill describes
"The C6 CAN have an issue where you press the START BUTTON and the dash goes blank (except for one yellow light on the IPC) and nothing happens for approx 5-6 seconds and the car fails to crank. Hopefully that is NOT your issue. If it is, your BCM is most likely in need of replacement."

Just got back from the dealer and this is exactly what is happening other then mine will go into continuous crank every now and then and if I wait 10-15 seconds the dash will sometimes come alive but if I hit the start button it goes blank again

Anyone? My car is at the dealer but I have had bad luck with Hendrick Chevy and would like to have some ideas or question I should ask in case they start Easter egging for the solution.

can you define "continuous crank"? are you saying it continues to crank when you release the start button?

Yes

Now the good news is it was fixed for free the bad news is the tech was gone and the service manger said it was carbon build up on the TB and how in the hell would that cause 1. the car to die while driving down the road and 2. cause a no crank situation that would intermittently go into continuous crank every 8-10 try's. My guess is they reset the BCM and that is what fixed it but either way I am just happy to have the car back alive.
