I need directions on where the ECM is located and how to remove and reinstall. Anyone have a video of it being done? Real mechanical novice here but I take directions well.

Jack the front passenger side up and remove the front tire.

On the back wheel well cover, there is 3-10mm bolts that will be need to be removed first on the bottom of the cover (under the car on the bottom of the cover, the first is on the very back of the cover, then the other two are towards the center of the car working back towards the wheel well), then on the back side top of the wheel well cover in the wheel well, three pull pin shape retainers on the top, then 4 down the fender lip side you need to remove to pull the back wheel well cover.

The ECM is the silver box with fins, and has the three large wire connectors connector to it.
Note, your not pulling the fender, just the back cover of the wheel well to get to the ECM. So under the ECM, and on the back of the wheel well in this photo, is the black plastic cover that you are removing instead.

To remove the wire connectors, push the red zip wire type clips towards the fender/grey handle first to remove then from the U slots, push the tab in just below the grey handle, then cam the gray handle all the way open toward the fender to unlock the harnesses clips from the ECM plug socket posts.
Note, the grey handle retainers may have dirt in the side red lock clips, so work the handles back and forth until you can get them in the fully unlocked/fully open position, and you can pull the connector off without prying them out instead (Read, don't pry the connector off, since it will snap the connector locks that have not been disengage correctly yet via the lock handle cams plates).

With the wire harness removed, there is 2-10mm head bolts on top, and one of the bottom.
Note, the bolts are threaded into U type quick metal clips, so when you go to bolt the ECM back in, don't go buck wild and try to over torque the bolts.

Also, before you reinstall the ECM connectors, clean the pin/socket contacts with spray electrical contact cleaner, and a touch of dielectric grease is just the ticket on the contact pins and the rubber seals on the connectors.
