Default C6 radio removal

I'm having some trouble removing my head unit. I have traction control and I'm pretty sure the are 2 screws securing the center console behind it. How do I remove it? also where is the link for removing the radio? Thanks..

If you have a early vet with the tomb stone piece that has either select ride, or air bag passage seat disable lamp, then you need to pop that up to remove it first (two 7mm bolts behind it).

Just use something like a plastic putty knife on the bottom back edge just above the velvet when it has the bottom seam of the tomb stone to lower center plastic , and pry the very bottom edge of the tomb stone back cover straight up to unclip the two inner spring clips from the plastic slots as pointed out in Kawal's write up.

As for once you have the center bezel out of the way, you need to first remove the Heater controller two side screws first, and slide it back and down, then you can remove the side screws from the radio to pull it straight back to unclip the back connectors and remove the radio.

Follow a tutorial. some have been posted here and there are more in the audio sub forum. There are four screws. Two are behind the parking brake boot holding console to the hockey stick (that's what they call the part). Open the glove box when you remove it.
