Passenger Side Window Electrical Gremlin
The door is slow to open so I plan on cleaning the contacts in the pressure plate "handle" this weekend as well. I don't think the two things are related but who knows...
Anybody have any similar events happen to them?
Once upwards, the harness connector will just un-clip from the bottom of the switch.
Go to the below link to see the front and back tabs on the bezel that you are popping out of the door panel to remove the bezel with switch with the panel still in the door.

As for the switch to pull it apart and clean it, look at the last photo in the above link (bottom right), and both the top and bottom pop out of the center connector pretty much the same way you pull a door button apart to clean it. The bottom of the switch is slot tabbed lock in place, and the top switch is rocker tab locked in like you are pulling a starter button face out (just need use one a small pick tool to push the side inwards so the rocker pins clears the slides of the housing lock in tabs .

As for weekend project, try 20 mins once you have done it once instead for just the passenger switch.
Throw in cleaning both door inner release buttons, the outer door pull pads, the rear hatch release button above the rear plate , and even the starter switch since you have the can of electrical spray cleaner and dielectric grease in hand, maybe a hour or two if you are repainting some of the buttons as well.

The window switch is still junk however. I cleaned it really well but it still doesn't lower the window properly. Ordered a new AC Delco switch for $12 will be here Tuesday.
I tried to take a picture with my phone of the corroded contacts in the window switch but the pics weren't clear enough to bother posting.
All in all not bad.
