Has anyone had any experience adjusting a hood that sits high on the sides between the front and rear edges? My hood is good in the front corner and low in the back corner, but is a bit high in the middle. To avoid the question, no the car has never been in an accident. How does your hood fit?

A picture showing the issue would probably help diagnose the problem, but unless it just happened out of the blue my guess would be that it may have come off at some point for mechanical work and wasn't put back on correctly.
As someone who frequently has the hood off, I can tell you from experience that getting it aligned properly is more art than science. Even though I usually mark the bolt holes with a Sharpie before I take it off, when I do finally get it back on and aligned properly it usually looks like I was drunk when I first drew the outlines. You'd be surprised at how little of an adjustment to the bolts can raise or drop the middle and/or the sides of it.
You have two back rubber adjusters on the bonnet back windshield side that you adjust for that back height (rubber bumper screw in and out), there is two rubber bumper on the middle that are fixed to the inside of the fenders for the middle ride height, and the front is adjusted via the hinges.
As for the bonnet between the middle to windshield back edge at the hook latches, that is the latches that controls that height.
To add, when you have the back edges adjusted correctly, it will cam down the middle on the bonnet on other side of the bonnet latches. So on that note, work with the rubber screw bumpers on windshield side of the bonnet to get the back to sit flush with the fenders, and see if that corrects the middle of the bonnet to sit flush with the fenders as well.
Thanks to all the replies! Taking a closer look at my hood, it appears the front edge is higher than the front fascia which would allow me to lower the front of the hood with a hinge adjustment. This should also lower the edges of the hood. Is adjusting the hood a job that can be done by myself or would I need additional help/hands? I'm mechanically capable of working on my Corvette.

if you have to ask that after "looking at it" you probably can't do it by yourself.
