Default Low dyno numbers after header and cai install?

I am new to this fourm and had a few questions if someone can help, is it me or does my numbers seem low. I installed some 1 7/8 Pfadt headers weld in xpipe no cats and K&N CAI with uffler mod and car dynoed 475/425 on a dyno jet tuned by Matt at GP tuning in Hayward, he told me my car is in line with all header CAI cars he does but I see guys with the same mods making 480/460 490/470 etc. Are these numbers low or is this dyno not reading as high?

Individual cars can vary by 10-20 HP directly from the factory. The real measure is your delta on performance. Did you run a baseline dyno before performing the mods ?

No I did not it was modded then tuned, main concern was my TQ and idk if the temp he was dynoing it at would effect it much, car temp was around 209-210 and weather was only around 65* that day.

I think your numbers are just fine for those mods. Agree with CHJ, you should have had a baseline tune done to see the delta, which is most important.

I recently had re-worked LS7 heads, Kooks headers and X-Pipe installed. Previous mods were K&N air filter and Corsa exhaust. Baseline was 454/373. After mods, I got 487/420 on a mustang dyno. Picked up lots of torque, which is what I was hoping/looking for.

Drive her and enjoy it! Numbers only mean so much!
