I have a question for you track rats. Last Friday I went to Cecil County, went 12.9 @ 113mph. I had trouble spinning. Tonight I went back. Went 12.8 @ 114. I either bogged or wheel-hopped. Varying the starting rpm did not help.
Both times were with 35psi front 24psi on the back. Should I have just pumped up the tires to get past the wheel-hop?
The track was giving all the street cars troubles. The race cars were killing it. It felt like the track was too sticky. I did not want keep going up in starting rpm until I blew the drivetrain.
