Here's one for you. Helmet cam during the timed mile run on a runway. Hit top speed at redline in 5th gear, about 186.

The launch is where my Et's come from. My shifting is slow compared to most other guys, but I've broken my third gear blocker ring twice from shifting too fast so I am tired of that expense and I slowed down the shifting and it seems to help a lot.

I did this thread to summarize all my mods and dyno and track results, hoping it would help others new to the vette in deciding where to spend their funds.

Here is a great shifter, my friend Justin. He did a flat shift mod to his tune and just leaves the gas pedal down by using the clutch pedal position switches our cars have. He went from 11.4's to 10.6's just learning to launch with some tips over the course of a few outings. This is with his stock clutch too.
