Default Clutch Options

Its time for a clutch. Went to the drag strip over the weekend and tried launching at 2500rpms and the car launched and soon as the nitrous came on the rpms went to the limiter and car barely moved. Then pedal is sticking to the floor even though i changed the clutch fluid multiple times before that run.
There is a shop approx 2.5hrs away that specializes in LSX cars and they recommended me either a Monster level 3 clutch or a SPEC stage 3+. The next closest LSX shop is about 5hrs away and they recommend a RPS dual carbon clutch. Its quite a bit more expensive though. The car is 568rwhp/646tq and thats spraying 150. Its a weekender that sees the drag strip a couple times a month on et streets. Would like a clutch with good street manners also. The wife drives the car so would like the clutch pedal not to be to stiff. I have seen alot of good and bad reviews on all of them. What do you all recommend

Lots of clutches and lots of opinions. I have a Centerforce Dyad with a Tick master and am very happy.

I would use what the shop recommends in case there is an issue.

I'm happy with my Mantic 9000 dual disc. Feels like the oem LS7/3 clutch, but with a lot more clamping power.

I had a spec stage 3 in my 4th gen camaro and a monster stage 3 in my GTO, they both were far to grabby and on/off. If you do any street driving then a twin disk clutch is your best option. I have heard good things about the mantic and the rps.
