Does anyone know of a good source to buy a service manual at a decent price. I went to the Helms site and it was $200 with this disclaimer
"This manual is a digital reprint of the original publication. It is possible that this item will be in loose-leaf format. Any wiring diagrams in the original shop/service manual are NOT reproduceable and are no longer available."
I think the wiring diagrams are essential for the manual so this doesn't help me.

Check out ALLDATAdiy. I got a five year subscription for $45 and others have said you can get a two year for less than $20. Has theory of operations, repairs, component locations, wiring diagrams, etc.

Not the factory manuals, but very very good, and light years better than what I remember seeing in Chiltons.
Do a web search for an alldata discount code, and you can get a 3 year subscription for like $12 or some ridiculous low amount.

Oh yeah, I'll probably buy the factory manuals, but NOT for $240 (the price at Helms, last time I checked). For $12, I immediately have 95% of what I need, including printable wiring diagrams and other pages, giving me time to wait for a good deal to come along on a used set of the printed manuals.
