Taking the car out of winter storage this morning. Had battery out of car on a tender at home. Hooked up battery and alarm went off. Both fobs aren't working. Alarm shut off on its own about 30secs or so. Attempted to start car...nothing. Dic reads "no fobs dectected". Put fob in the glove compartment slot and still nothing. Battery is good has plenty of juice? What the hell is going on???
From now on, always attempt to start the car with the fob in your hand, holding it gently.
When you get the "No Fobs Detected" message, smack the fob firmly a few times on your palm.
Then try again. If it starts up, your fob battery terminals are not making good contact. This is not a new problem and has been reported before on the forums.

Hi JetstreamGS,
I am sorry to hear about your concern with your key fobs. Were you able to find a resolution from the other posts?
Should you decide that you would like to work with the dealership, I would be happy to help.
If you are interested, please private message us with your VIN, mileage, contact information and preferred dealer. I look forward to hearing from you.
Got the car started but fobs still don't seem to be working as they should. Seems to take a while for them to work when I press the buttons. Could the batteries have gone bad over the winter? Fobs were stored together could that have caused any issues?
